Dr. B.K. Modi has always lived and worked on the principal philosophy of challenging conventional wisdom. With nearly four decades of business leadership behind him, Dr. Modi has consistently spearheaded the conglomerate's successful alliances with multinational corporations and category leaders like Xerox, Alcatel, Telstra, Olivetti, Lithographic Systems and International Paper, Telekom Malaysia and Mediatek. He is the key technology and business architect in conceptualizing, creating, developing and globalizing the Smart brand.
Ms. Preeti Malhotra, Group President, Corporate Governance & Corporate Affairs
A known name in the industry & policy circles, she has been with the Group for over 2 decades. She plays the ‘conscience keeper’ of the Group by ensuring highest standards of compliance. She has been the only woman president ever of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, spearheading many reforms during her tenure.
A Chartered Accountant with 26 years experience and extensive skills in Business Planning, Corporate Finance, Treasury Management, IPO, Investors Relations & Management Controls & Review. Prior to joining Si2i Mobility, he worked for 4 years with Fujitsu India Telecom and 5 years with the Prestige Group.
Mr. Ozi Amanat, Chief Investment Office
A Harvard graduate with a keen sense to spot smart investment opportunities, he has played a key role in the Group’s aggressive diversification and expansion plans including those into healthcare and high end luxury entertainment.
Ms. Anitha Reddy Chada, Director
A management professional with expertise in cross cultural integration, she led the integration initiatives during various acquisitions by the Group. She presently heads the Human Resources at Si2i.

- PRIMARY & SECONDARY EDUCATION - Spice Foundation is currently running Dayawati Modi Academy at Varanasi & Rampur. Both are 10+2 CBSE affiliated schools with a combined student strength of 5600.
- HIGHER EDUCATION - Dayawati Modi Academy – Centre of Innovation & Creativity (DMA – CIC) is being established at Modipur, Rampur. 6 courses at undergraduate & higher diploma level will be offered in collaboration with Limkokwing University of Malaysia (LUCT).
GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP FORUM
The intention is of unifying efforts to create a peaceful, harmonious and progressive world influenced by education, spirituality, environment and technology. The focus would be on achieving environmental balance, ensuring food security and education. This development of global consciousness will also ensure equal opportunity for all. The initiative will be spearheaded by Dr. Modi as a Global Citizen, and will soon see 10,000 members play pivotal parts.
It is with a vision to promote global consciousness and the creation of a charter that will become the foundation of the forum that will be led by international 'change agents'. 2013 will witness the establishment of a Global Citizenship forum in Singapore.
